Sometimes a crewed delivery is not possible. Maybe timescales do not work, the vessel is not suitable, or in the case of a motor yacht the fuel range is not large enough - and of course there is always the wear and tear on the vessel. In these cases yacht shipping may be the better option.

OceanTrax currently offers a once a month yacht shipping service from Southampton to the Mediterranean stopping at Alcudia, Nice and Lavrion.

The objective of this service is to:

​

• Collect your vessel from the marina.

• Deliver to the transport ship.

• Prepare the vessel for shipping, stow deck gear, remove sails, spray hoods etc.

• Oversee loading, ensure the vessel is lifted at the correct points and the correct cradle is used.

• Ensure all the correct paperwork is dealt with.

• Collect from the transport ship at the destination.

• Deliver to the marina of your choice and ensure the vessel is clean and ready to use.

OceanTrax can offer the complete package or any part separately. For example, maybe you have arranged shipment with a yacht shipping company, would like us to deliver your vessel to the transport ship and prepare it or collect it as it arrives and is launched.
